Perfume Rollerball Workshop - Hosted by Lavender Sachet

Alison Peters, founder and owner of The Lavender Sachet, will take the group through the process of how to create two beautiful Rollerball Perfumes step-by-step. Rollerball perfumes are great to keep at your bedside, your desk at work or carry in your purse for a quick pick-me-up. You can make one for yourself and give one as a gift.

Before class starts, everyone can walk right next door to The Farmer’s Collective to receive their complimentary drink – including a specialty coffee, local wine, artisanal beer or sparkling water. The Farmer's Collective is a café and market offering locally-sourced products grown by local farmers and made by local artisans.

Back in the Two Little Buds studio, workshop guests will get to sample and pick their own scents for their rollerball perfumes from options such as lavender, sweet orange, lemon, lime, peppermint, ylang ylang, palo santo, gardenia, bergamot, sandalwood, honeysuckle, jasmine, yuzu, grapefruit, coconut, vanilla, eucalyptus, tea tree, patchouli, sea salt, chamomile and more. Alison will help guide everyone on the best scents to blend together.

Once scents are selected, we’ll move on to choosing our base oils: sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil and avocado oil.* Workshop guests will receive labels and name their custom-made perfume rollerballs. Name inspiration can come from some of the top-selling perfumes in the world, like Marc Jacob’s Daisy, YSL’s Black Opium, Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle, Byredo’s Gypsy Water, Calvin Klein’s Eternity, D&G’s Light Blue or Viktor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb.

At the end of the workshop, you will take home two custom created perfume rollerballs in a gift bag! Rollerballs are 15 mL each. These are 1.5x the size of the rollerballs sold by TLS at markets. The studio space holds 12 max. Grab a friend and reserve your spot ASAP!

The Perfume Rollerball Workshop will take place at Two Little Buds Florist (17 N. D Street, Hamilton, OH 45013) from 2:00 - 3:15pm on Saturday, March 16. Directly next door is The Farmer's Collective.

*Note: Please do not use these base oils (sweet almond, jojoba, grapeseed, avocado) if you are allergic to their ingredients. Alison can plan in advance for you to make a perfume spray using witch hazel and distilled water if you’d still like to participate.
