local beef provider! Located in Hanover Township, SunWake Farm
is run by husband and wife team, Derek and Melissa Hays, along with their two daughters. Our mission at SunWake Farm is to provide our community with a high quality, clean beef selection, from right here in Butler County, Ohio. Locally raised meat has a positive impact on the environment through rotational grazing, reduction of transport and processing costs, and also provides enhanced food security.
Our cattle are provided fresh pastures to graze, non-GMO corn from a neighboring farm, and brewers grain from local breweries. In order to ensure the cleanest and healthiest meat possible, our cattle are not given antibiotics or growth hormones or any other chemicals. A majority of the hay we feed is grown on our farm, or sourced from nearby farms. We are very careful when it comes to the feed selection and care of our cattle. Quality of life and happiness is an important key ingredient in our beef. We are animal lovers and try to give our cattle the best life possible, with their health and comfort coming before our own. This is what we believe contributes to the high quality and flavor of our beef.
